Amanda is trained in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. She has her practice in Dallas, Texas. She is on the faculty at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture where she worked as a clinical supervisor in their student clinic for six years while maintaining a private practice in Boca Raton, FL.
She attended the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, formerly the Worsley Institute, in Hallandale Beach, FL. She received a Licentiate in Acupuncture in 1999 followed by a Master of Acupuncture in 2001. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine earning a Diplomate in Acupuncture in 1999 and a Diplomate in Chinese Herbology in 2007. She has more than 2800 hours of training. She holds current acupuncture licenses in the states of Texas and Florida.
Prior to her studies in acupuncture she practiced massage therapy for 10 years in Dallas and has been involved in the health care field since 1985.
In addition to five element acupuncture she is proficient in the methods of Dr. Richard Tan’s balance method, auricular acupuncture and facial rejuvenation treatments.
Amanda is currently the only licensed Classically trained Five Element Acupuncturist in the state of Texas having graduated from an Acupuncture College originally founded by the late Professor J. R. Worsley.
